WHAT IS LPG?
LPG or Liquefied Petroleum Gas is used as an automotive fuel and is referred to as LPG Autogas. LPG Autogas is predominatly propane and butane.

GOVERNMENT REBATE
Last year the Federal Government recognized the environmental benefits of running motor vehicles on LPG and introduced a $2,000 rebate for privately registered vehicles.

Yarra Ranges Shire Council in Melbourne has established a dual fuel fleet conversion program by adding liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to its diesel trucks. The council claims it is the first in the country to introduce this fuel system that will lead to a 30% reduction in greenhouse emissions and a 15% reduction in fleet operating costs over time.
